PX7 Markdown Sync Help

Connect local Markdown folders to one shared location in iCloud Drive.

Getting started

Choose the shared iCloud location

Open Settings and choose one folder in iCloud Drive. Every sync connection gets a named subfolder inside it.

Add a local Markdown folder

Choose a folder from your Mac or use one of the suggestions detected from other PX7 Markdown apps. Select Add Sync Folder.

Choose when Sync runs

Select an automatic interval or choose Off and use Sync Now whenever you want to update the folders manually.

Using another Mac

Install Sync on the other Mac and select the same shared iCloud location. Sync shows the folders already available there. For each folder you want on this Mac, select Connect, then choose or create its local folder. Review the first sync summary and confirm when the mapping is correct. You can leave any folder unconnected on this Mac.

Conflicts and deletions

When two files differ, the newest becomes current and the other is retained as a conflict copy. Deletions are deliberately not copied between Macs.
