Today
See events from the calendars already configured on your Mac. Calendar access is optional and can be enabled from the app.
Write directly, use a small formatting toolbar, preview the result, or open the same file in another Markdown editor. External changes are detected safely.
Set a habit for every day, selected weekdays or once a week. Today’s habits appear beneath the journal and are saved as Markdown checkboxes.
A Flow keeps a current note and next step for a project, relationship, interest or another part of life that lasts beyond one day. The monthly view shows where each Flow appeared in your journal.
Perspectives
Choose from Kaizen, Ikigai, Hansei, Kanso, Shoshin, Ma, Osoji, Shinrin-yoku, Wabi-sabi, Shokunin and Kinhin. Daily Flow explains the idea behind each perspective and can add a related prompt to the journal. Perspectives are optional.
Your files
Each entry is an ordinary UTF-8 Markdown file in the folder you choose. You can read and edit it with other Markdown apps, move the folder and keep your journal if you stop using Daily Flow.
